my chav-tastic gixxer (there - I said it). Not red or italian. Which needs to be ride-able home too. Thery're gonna give me a nice orange bib to wear. It'll all be fine.

Tried to book the 12th, but it's full. I think all the guys who got fogged off last weekend got re booked onto this day. So I've booked the 30th. Novice only night will be spot on for my first ride in 7 months, £90 seems good value for 2 hours of open pit lane too.

So it's 15 degrees every day until the 18th but then there's sudden snow for perhaps the first time on record?

I would go with the Metoffice instead mate... Still not accurate this far back but at least it makes sense!

He was actually incredibly polite when he gave me the bib, "Now, I'm not saying your ste but I've left you a bib on your bike." Do you know it said "traffic attendent"? biglaugh

Back on the 26th May for the novice only night, methinks I need to get some more practice in.

for the 25 minutes I was on track (and upright) I was having a ball. If I could've gone back out I would. I would've been back there today if I could. Not addicted - not me - no.

Damage tally is clip on, bar end, front and rear fairing minor damage, rhs fairing scraped to fk, air duct, bent rear brake lever (should be bendable back), end can has holes it shouldn't. Jury's out on the rear subframe. Frame is ok. New leather jeans needed and gloves holed too. Pride?

An expensive 25 mins.
