Motorsport Gifts

Hello,

Looking for some advice / help about booking a motorsport gift for my dad. He's had a pretty stty year and i will be arriving from the UK for a month in Feb so i would like to take him away for a half day or a whole day of fun. He's well into his cars, especially the V8 racing so does anyone know of anything near Wellington or within a couple hours drive that would be suitable? Either a track experience or something exotic or left field to hire?

I'm pretty sure Manfield is the closest track to Wellington and it's about 2 hours away. I did a quick Google and it looks like theres a few people who do V8 hotlaps (where you drive) around there. I'm afraid I can't recommend any first hand though.

Are there any rally school/experience type things in the area? That might be cheaper and probably more fun.
