This is my daily now, but on a s/s strap.

i do like it, however i think i'd be sick of everyone just thinking at a glance that it's a Casio or something esp after having spent so much on it, as it has that kind of general appearance. Prob why they included "omega" in massive letters on the strap.
Personally, I prefer a watch if I like it ,not what other people think it might or might not be.

A very strange view.
I really didn't want to labour the point as I am generally pretty aware of potentially offending the owner. I don't think there is anything strange about it at all. I like the look of it, and I'd spend £200-500 on it no problem. To me it doesn't look its worth, which was the point i was trying to make. I wouldn't want to spend thousands on a watch that even reminds me, the owner of it, of a far cheaper watch.

Each to their own, of course.
I guess it's like having a Golf because you couldn't afford a BMW or the suchlike.

digging for nuggets i see. Well no, it would be like spending £70k on a car that looked like a Golf to be honest. I didn't set out to offend you, but posting it on here will result in discussion. Maybe I should have left it as "not my cup of tea i'm afraid" as that's far simpler.

If it's the clasp that's broken, I'm afraid you'll just have to get a sharp knife and cut the strapbiggrin

Another 70's diver

It's on a shark mesh bracelet, rather than the leather strap now.

Love that!! Very classy.

My current 'grail' is the similar version of that with a moon phase where the small seconds is.

Lovely JLC, one of my favorites. A bit of detail but retains a simple classy look.

very nice, and looks like a very old pre-'professional' one. I think they added professional to the dial after Ed White took one on the first US space walk in 1965.
