But you dont get ice, snow and rain in the garage. You wouldnt be able to train in two of those.
The reson i stopped training at home was because its a pain in the arse, you spend more time faffing about swapping weights than you do training.
Im in the same boat as you the gyms i use dont have a rack

I've trained everwhere from council gyms to Virgin Active, and for the past 6 years I've been training in a barn / shed. It's literally just a barn on a farm, full of weights, squat rack, pullup bars, dipping bars etc.
Being in the west coast of Scotland, it can get somewhat sharp in the winter, but once you're warmed up it's totally fine. As for training outdoors, I'd say go for it. I've often considered getting a local fabricator to make me a dip / pullup bar combo for outside.

I only train at home, have a squat rack and bench in the garage, and built a home made power rack outside out of 4x4" wooden posts in concrete.
The reason I built it was lack of head height in the garage for overhead work and the ability to use safety bars when going for a 1RM.
For those of you thinking of training outside, all I'll say is the outside one very rarely gets used in winter. I'm not bothered about cold, it's wind and rain that completely de-motivates you. It's fine when you're lifting, but if you strength train you spend just as much time resting as lifting, could you actually stand there just getting battered by wind and rain? I lasted a month before dropping standing overhead press and making do with seated when the weather was bad.

Turn 49 tomorrow.
I've been exercising hard and eating a good diet for 2 years.
Going to put in a real good year, aim is BF of 10% or under and run a marathon sub 4 hours when I'm 50.
I'm not too far off the bodyfat, but the marathon is going to be quite an effort.
Big curry tomorrow and then go for it.

Anyone else eat what they would describe as 'a lot of red meat'?
We have stopped eating chicken in our house over the last few months which has seen me eating a lot more beef, lamb and pork. I actually prefer red meat but I'm pretty much eating it every day!
Yesterday I made some awesome sloppy joes for myself. 500g of beef mince. Tasted lovely though

my lifestyle has meant I couldn't eat as focused as I'd have liked.
Work or social?I don't think I've changed much either on the weight or composition front.

Can you give us a summary? Are the lies serious?
Exposing lies can be both entertaining and extremely dangerous depending on the individual....
