Following on from the fun of the December fantasy share game is the 2014 fantasy league, thought it'd be a good idea to see who can win/loose the most play money over the course of the year, playing against other PH'rs.

Rules and the site are the same, with only the time limit extended to 31 December 2014.

To play you will need to sign up to http://www.lse.co.uk (free and quick and easy).

Then direct yourself over to http://game.lse.co.uk/join-game.asp

Gamename: PH Share Game 2014
Password: whotippedgkp

As before starting cash is £10k
Stamp duty will be charged on each buy for a bit of realism
Commission is £5 per trade (again for realism)

So what are you waiting for - get cracking and join in, the more the merrier. Winner is the PH'r with the most in his/her account at the sound of the bell at the end of the year. We toyed with limiting holdings to a set pecentage of capital, however this isn't possible as a rule on the game and the gamblers will be shown up over the year.

You are encouraged to shout about your gains and cry over your losses here too.

Good luck!

No worries smile

The longer time limit should weed out a few of the gamblers...should be good fun, determined to do better this time! haha

Is there a way of placing a trade at best whilst the market is closed - so waiting for doors open? Maybe with a limit?
I couldn't manage it on the xmas game but another game I play will allow it?
Thanks

If you go to share trading, put the EPIC in then do at limit/at best trade then select valid for 3 days, i think that should work?

Right I'm in, stocks bought, £106 down so far but most of that down to fees. Time to make some huge gains.
