I love the sound of it , I don't care if it's "fake". My wife even loves the sound of it and she hates all things gimmicky

Today presented a good photo opportunity. A colleague who I was trying to convince to get a GTD, gave in and got an R instead biggrin

Unfortunately no - both Bristol based. I used to spend weekends in Romford though, back in the day when I had a lemon of a Scirocco TSI banghead.

Hello, this is a slight thread highjack, but I want to ask if this GTI (5 door manual) is a good deal?

0 + 23 £254 8000 miles with no maintenance

Centralukvehicleleasing are claiming its a special offer, saving £60 per month.

http://www.centralukvehicleleasing.co.uk/vehicle/d...

Thanks

That seems a quality deal if its not another one of their 'mistakes'

Cheap lease deals on the GTI are rare compared to the GTD and R.

Can you trust these guys, has anyone ordered from them?

If yes, I will call tomorrow!

They are legit and people have ordered from them, but they have been known to make 'mistakes' before!

The other GTI deals have a £2000 deposit so it seems strange that one appears not to.

I just looked, but its 6 + 23 so overall costs more and they only give you 5000 miles.

If it's 0 + 23 will work out just under £6k which is a great deal but I would ring and check if it's not a mistake as the other gti deals inc dsg are all £2k + vat initial payment

Just got our new Golf R delivered today - that's been a long wait as we ordered the car way back in November. First impressions are excellent biggrin

Spec is pretty much standard 5dr but has the addition of the winter pack, reverse camera, rear airbags and the 19" wheels. Oh and its in the fastest colour - Tornado red! wink

Does anyone know if the golf R comes with a heated windscreen as standard or do you need the winter pack for it? Still trying to get a deal from G2L but want to be greedy and ask for maintance to be included for free !🙏. Wonder if it'll be more fun than my fiesta St-3

Hi all, I've been getting a few quotes on a specific spec golf r i'm looking to buy. Yes i realise speccing them up bumps the price up but what's the point in paying for a car that doesn't have everything you'd like/look like you want.

3dr, Manual Golf R
Options:
Lapiz Blue
19'' Pretoria Alloys
Leather
Keyless Entry
Privacy Glass
Sat Nav SD Based

So far i have had the following prices (all vat inclusive):

Vehiclesavers.com 3+23 of £420.95
Carleasing-online.co.uk 3+23 of £414.59
Fvl.co.uk (First vehicle leasing) 3+23 of £479.64

Has anyone heard of these companies or can recommend any of them? Or others that may be competitive?

Colour looks great!
Thanks. It looks really different in different light. It can look almost coppery in the sun and they dark grey in duller light.

Mine went from build week confirmed to intransit yesterday, no build in progress phase. I am worried that I am now going to get a container full of VW parts that I have to put together myself!! Getting mildly excited now smile
How long was it at build week confirmed for?
About two weeks, docs arrived this morning, its in the UK, just been told about 10 days to delivery. Need to sell the E46 M3 now as I cannot justify both!

I saw one in this colour yesterday in between rain and snow showers, it was super subtle with very little light to bring out the depth of the colour.
