Spoke to my usual lease guy today and he thinks he knows of a red car in stock somewhere.
I will hopefully be in a position to order next week but looking online the prices seem to have jumped up recently?
I don't know the exact spec yet (or the price) but has anyone ordered recently and can give me a guide to what they're paying?
I'm looking at 3+23 @ 10k miles per year fwiw.
Phil
Mine has just been delivered. It was in stock so i have paid a little more than the deal I was offered on a customer order. 5dr DSG and Met paint - 282 inc vat on a 6 + 23 8000 miles per year 6.3p per mile for excess mileageI will hopefully be in a position to order next week but looking online the prices seem to have jumped up recently?

Mine took 9 months.
Whaat? I mean they asked for my driving license ETC. Since the cars here in the UK. And they've sent my license and other identification back. But how long does it take from then?

Hey guys, like many- I am completely new to the whole idea of leasing- I currently have a skoda on PCP that I can give back around Summer time and realise that the lead time of these R deals means I should perhaps start the ball rolling now for a seamless transition.
My question is, what sort of deal should I be going for- what is best around at the moment and how does it work? I'm sure this has been covered but I know these deals change very quickly! I'm after 8k or 10k, 6 month deposit max and DSG ideally.
Thanks
Sam

You need to get yourself over to VWROC site. Not sure the deals are great anymore.
VW were the best (PCH). I have a 5 door DSG in white. Deposit was £2k incl car and then about £180 a month (plus vat) over 2 years. 10k pa and a relatively low mileage charge if you go over this. Best to try one of the vw garages that offered the best deals a year or so ago. Not all dealers were as generous with their deals (by a huge margin).

Some of the early ones will be going back soon..
Ours goes back in August. 29k just now, hoping to get it bang on the agreed 40k on handover. Need to try wear out the tyres too - I'll need a new set before it goes back, so want to put them on sooner rather than later. Can't believe this thread is still going!

Trick with leasing is you need to be open on what car you want, rather than having a specific model in mind.
