If so could i ask a great favour. I have just found out that the ships crest from my Dads ship HMS Dido is on the wall of the Selbourne dry dock.
If there is a chance of getting a pic of it, you can have several internet pints!!

I am heading to Cape Town 15 Feb - 12 Mar. I play golf not far from Simonstown. I will go and take some photos from you, if I can get into the Dockyard (it is a Naval base)?

I'm playing golf at Clovelly on Saturday, and hopefully will get the opportunity to visit the Drydock then?

My golf got cancelled today - playing partner in neck brace! I'm sorry that I am not going to be able to go to the Dockyard to get photos, but I have alerted three other people. They have said that might find a good reason to go there (take kids/attend concert/military interests) and if/when they do, they will do a photo recce?
