Has anyone found an iphone 6 wallet case with the wallet on the back of the phone, not one of these fold up jobbies?

Does anyone know what people with big phones do when they go running or cycling? I'm not sure an iPhone 6 would fit on my arm or in the tiny bag I've got slung under my bike seat (which is the biggest I could find, fitting an inner tube, refill cannister and iPhone 4S).
For cycling the best place for the phone is in the middle of the bars, there are a variety of generic cases available. And true to form, it tends to be the iPhones that get the device specific cases. My generic one fits my 1020 fine, so the iPhone 6 would fit in okay.

Putting a 6+ in some sort of case on the handlebars would be similar to fitting wings to the front of your bike.

Back pocket of your jersey should be more than big enough.

My Samsung Galaxy S3 is approx the same size as a 6 and fits nicely in a cycling jersey pocket
You're probably right, but I wouldn't want something heavier than a tissue and a debit card jumping about in there, especially when out of the saddle, thus the saddlebag. I confess, I had only looked for a saddlebag in my local bike shop, maybe online would get me a bigger one?

As for running, I'm sure an arm band will be available, but it's still a bit big!

The other thing is my 4S just about squeezes in the pocket of my buoyancy aid (in a dry bag obviously).

I think if I get a 6 then I'll just have to keep my 4S and the size of sim it takes for when I need a mobile phone.
I've never had an issue with my 5 jumping around in my jersey pocket. I do it every day on my 25 mile round trip commute.
Everyone's different. I've sometimes carried my 4S in a rear pocket when on someone else's bike and it's heavy and distracting - I wouldn't want to make a habit of it.

Can't wait for the head-to-head between the iWatch and the Moto 360.
The iWatch will probably have some exclusive features towards the iPhone compared to the Moto 360, I'll be curious to see how it turns out.

I use a tiny CamelBak rucksack; keys, phone, wallet, inner tube. mini pump, energy bar, and of course hydration all in one neat little package.

Keeps the bike clean of 'stuff' and no need to strip it all off if locking bike up etc

You'd think if the cyclists can afford an iphone 6 they could just save a bit more and buy a car.

At the risk of jinxing myself Ive had my S3 for just under 2 years and its been on every bike ride in my jersey

From Garmin Connect:

Road - 400 hours - 8,500km
MTB - 102 hours - 1,500km
Cyclocross - 50 hours - 1,000km

I dont record commuting 5 days a week or riding with the kids

Yes, I know Im a sad git smile

Thanks for the tip, I'd never considered buying a car!

Ordered a SENA Ultra Slim case from their site but no word on when it will be dispatched. Not enjoying the prospect of having to use my iPhone case-less until it arrives!

in the interest of keeping this thread on track,

I had a mountain bike that cost more to buy and insure than my car for many years, when i started work !!!

handle bar cases are good, but make sure the bracket is a good fit, I flung my iphone down the road twice when the quick release, quick released !!! thankfully the shockproof enclosure worked..

oh and erm just ordered a 6 & 6+ 128gb on EE for 2 guys in the office... 139.99 for the 6+ and 99.99 for the 6 & 45 pcm for 10gb 4g data...plus vat 24 month contracts

So for past 3 years I have had a contract with O2 that has enabled an upgrade at 15 months as loyalty reward for being with them for 10 years +. I'm now on this O2 refresh contract which means I have lost the ability to get a free upgrade at 15 months and now have to pay £200 for the same privilege as before.

Spoke to three today as I'm out of contract, asked about what 'loyalty' deals may be had. Basically my £35/month contract will turn into a £48/month contract with no up front cost. Gives unlimited data (apparently my peak usage has been around 3gb in a month in the last 6 months or so) with more minutes than id need.

Too rich for me so i've jumped to a rolling month contract (@£18 month) and will see how the market settles whilst my '5 soldiers on. I cant bring myself to pay £1000+ for a phone over two years!

just go separate SIM free phone and a SIM only deal, bundle contracts are bullst. That's why P4U was made to disappear.

Think I will, tho when its in a single payment it makes you realise how expensive iphones are. £539 for the basic 15gb! Quite fancy a oneplus one but they are drip feeding supply
