My 5 is up on contract with 3 and a 6 in the same size with the same contract is 99 up front and 50 a month where I am currently paying 42. Anyone managed to get three to do anything on the costs because of continued loyalty?
Is that on a 24 month contract?! £1299 is a joke. You could buy it direct from Apple and take out their 14.9% apr finance agreement and still be better off with a sim only contract. Do you actually use all your minutes and texts each month? craigjm said:

A few years ago I had to call customer services and they turned round and said I was a loyal customer after 2 years and knocked off a few quid each month. craigjm said:

phone companies have never given a st about loyalty. When it comes to brand new iphones, you've more chance of doing a st and finding an iphone in it than getting a discount. Give it a go though.Blown2CV said:

exactly if you don't ask you don't get. Just wondered if anyone else had got anything. jogon said:

Thats a 64gb. I could do what you say and a sim only contract offering pretty much what i need is £18 a month which over 2 years is £432 and the phone is £619 totalling 1051 so i could save £248 doing it that way i guess. craigjm said:

Trade in your iPhone 5 and you have enough for a ps4 or xbox one or couple of g's and a ho for an hour or two. Anonamoose said:
My 6 home screen doesn't rotate, neither does the home screen on my old 5 with ios8 update. Is it supposed to?
Talking about the wallpaper moving beneath the icons to give the impression of a floating desktop. It was introduced with iOS 7 but in 8 and on the iphone6 it is far more pronounced that before. Only the 6+ has landscape mode.
Reading the last few pages makes me realise I've probably (definitely) been overpaying for my phones. Never really cared, but having to watch the pennies a bit more these days.
I usually just upgrade to the latest thing a few weeks after the geeks have finished camping out side the store. So, as someone using an iPhone 5 who:
- Pays £48.75 O2 Unlimited with 2GB data
- Barely uses it for calls, mainly surfing the net via 3G when traveling.
- Uses Whatsapp for photos and text
- Currently out of contract and able to upgrade
What would you suggest are my best options for getting a 6?
Thanks in advance for any tips!

I can't imagine how big that's going to be.
Intriguing last couple of pages.I imagine a 6+ must be the size of the monolith in "2001".
It's like hordes of people didn't have imagination before they put their order in and are completely surprised by the size of a "pocket" computer

It's funny.
Samsung brings out the Note, hordes of iPhone users: THAT's TOO BIG for a phone.
3 years on, Apple brings their answer: LET'S ORDER IT!
It IS big, my phone is similar in size (a tad smaller still though). I think the 4.7" iPhone, like much 5" phones, will be the best of both worlds.
Made a thread about it this morning:

Well, my old phone was also a pocket computer. Plus, you can see all the size comparisons you like but having one in your hand is a different matter.I think I might set the ringtone for MrsTwo's Plus to the 2001 theme!

Reminds me of this:I don't deny bigger is the right thing for the average person, because people are getting bigger (taller, fatter, bigger hands etc), but it's annoying if you personally haven't got any bigger since the last iPhone/car release What we need from Apple is VW's strategy. Each time VW have made the Golf bigger they've introduced another model in the range that's the size of the original Golf, first it was the Polo, then the Lupo, then the Fox, then the Up.
