I've ordered a Spigen Air Skin from ebay for £9.99 instead of a bulky case. I've looked for screen protectors but all of the ones I've seen stop short of the edges due to the bevel. Probably means I'll have to leave it naked unless anyone has any suggestions?

Didn't realise anyone actually used Apple's calendar! Try Week Calendar or Calendar 5. Prefer the former, but the latter has a very good widget that works.
Cheers guys, will have a look illmonkey said:
I've had that, I've also had it reset several times (battery with good charge).
I'm used to the size now, and my old iPhone5 was knackered, but I think I want a 5 back...
Back to a 5 for me too I think. Tried a 6+ its like an iPad! Not in love with the 6, battery life is better, but its almost annoying to hold and you can't reach the whole screen with your thumb etc. iP5 is the perfect size for me. Edit: will go back to an iP5s now so I can use the thumb print! I'm used to the size now, and my old iPhone5 was knackered, but I think I want a 5 back...

I liked the 6 but I couldn't get on with the size it felt too thin I managed to get a new 5S at a good price it's perfect
Ditto.Still really like the design of the 6 and actually preferred it thinner but it was just too big for me, couldn't work it one handed plus couldn't justify £50 odd a month so grabbed a 5S for £20 a month instead and to be honest it's great.
Its just I-Tunes that isn't as usual!

The 6 is my first iPhone so excuse me if this is common knowledge. There is the 'Reachability' option where the screen lowers itself allowing the user to tap higher items on the screen while still using one hand. A compromise compared to an already easily accessible screen but an option regardless.davidexige said:

The iloom is not curved though and will not work with cases. It's a totally flat peice of glass with a rubber like lip around the lower edge to make it cover everything. http://www.amazon.co.uk/iloome-ScreenMate-CurvePro...

While we're at it, good cases/protectors that don't cost a bomb?
My Spigen was £10 on their ebay store. I'm very happy with it. Feels flimsy on its own but the fit is superb and doesn't add any bulk to the phone at all. On another note I'm very pleased with the phone. I'd say the size is perfect although coming from the 4S it took a little getting used to at first. Felt like the phone was right up to my face at times.
Well we just had a most unpleasant experience at the hands of Vodafone
We went into the local voda shop on Thursday evening to enquire about a 6/6+
The manager very kindly went out the back and got an unused box, opened it in front of us, and after some tooing and froing the missus chose the 6+
At this point I thought the deal was done, so reached for my wallet...but no, apparently we cant buy the phone because the missus is on 'their new system' so a fresh phone will have to be delivered to the shop or our house. Slightly miffed but the manager assured us it was on NEXT DAY DELIVERY so would be here Saturday
Roll onto Saturday and the missus is so excited she rings the shop to be told it wont arrive until Tues/Weds. This didn't go down well as you imagine. So badly, that we decided to cancel the 'order' (nothing signed - no paperwork whatsoever) and buy a unit from Apple direct.
Right from the get go the manager was defensive, but still maintained we could terminate the 'order' no worries. However after two or three phone calls nothing of any certainty had come about, also he kept saying to the warehouse that 'we wanted to return the handset' - to the point I made him tell the person that we hadn't received the handset in the agreed timeframe and that was why we didn't want it. At this point the manager insisted that he had never used the term 'next day delivery' which made me furious and the missus had to leave before she lost her temper.
After some discussion I stated that there was an obvious lack of trust in the way we were being dealt with and I would only leave If I had written assurance that we wouldn't be charged for the phone and the contract would revert back to the one with three months left to run. I left with that assurance in writing and he would call me this morning to confirm all had been dealt with.
Feeling mildly confident I shelled out £619 at Apple.
This morning the call came from the shop assistant and I answered half expecting what was to come...
IN short, Voda can't cancel the phone and the tariff will have to be met for the next twelve months...and the manager at no point said next day delivery
At this point I stated that if there was a tenuous verbal contract in place it had been broken on their part (no phone) and no mention at any point was made of their being a firm commitment - only there being a 14 day cool off period. And still they insisted we had to take the phone and new contract. It was only when I reminded her that I had a written assurance of the agreed cancellation on headed notepaper that she took any notice - she assumed it was a written note.
I now have e-mail assurance that the handset will be returned and the contract reverted back to it's original expiry date. I'm not holding my breath on that though.
