I've factory reset it and downgraded to 8.2. But I cannot restore a 8.3 to 8.2. So I'm now "restoing and upgrading". Hopefully a clean install might help.

Fresh installs can always help with odd bugs.

My router has not changed, all of the other devices connecting to it work fine, the missus' iPhone 5 on 8.1 is fine.

The only thing I changed on my phone was updated to 8.3.
You might have done this already but have you made your iPhone forget the wifi network and then connected as new?

Do you assign IP addresses by MAC on the router? I had to do this some time ago as other wifi devices were preventing one from connecting.

I did try, I tried loads. It's almost as if it was the software of 8.3 causing it! rolleyes

You're not further that 4mm from a router in my office, so it's not a fair test. Testing will commence when I get home.

Mine keeps coming up with that fking annoying "charging is not supported with this accessory" when I plug in my genuine charger.

I reset the phone again, with 8.2, but sure enough you cannot restore 8.3 to 8.2, I thought it was the case anyway, but anything to get this working.

I've swapped my router out and still not working.

When on 8.2, I set it up as a new device and tested the wifi and its much better than 8.3.

This is just pissing me off.

new handset today, busy restoring everything. Hasn't affected the reception issue, think EE just is unable to penetrate buildings. Great for sex workers and the homeless who mainly hang around in the streets.

Very strange possibly a hardware issue then if you've tried changing your router.

Sigh. So not only do i have to pay for another tempered glass screen protector, but those *ankers at Anker have decided to stop selling the one I had, despite it being flawlessly perfect. So, what's the best fking tempered glass screen protector for use with an iPhone 6 please? Again.

I had my first iPhone 6 for 40 hours before it would only turn on and show a red screen, Apple advised me to return it to the place I got it from straight away..

Who are these idiots that are managing to bend their phone - my thoughts before this happened to me:

In my history of using phones (20 years) I habe never ever managed to break a phone let alone bend one. I have thrown previous phones off walls and yet they have still not broken.

This one has been looked after with a tough case on it from day one and it first had a broken screen from a 1m fall which I paid to be replaced and then while in my pocket this bent.

Extremely poor design if I am honest. Not much point in the iPhone 6 being little thinner than the 5 if it starts bending like a fking wham bar under everyday pressure. Before anyone starts going on about other manufacturers having the same problem, quite frankly I don't care if they bend-they shouldn't and that doesn't make it a justification for an iPhone to bend that I bought with my heard earned money.

How in the hell did you manage to do that? You say it bent whilst in your pocket, did you put on a pair of super skinny jeans and do a full gym session?

My phone lives in my pocket and it's as straight now as it was when I bought it.

I genuinely cannot see how this would happen!!

Same here, iPhone 6+ and it lives in my back pocket and gets sat upon regularly, no bending whatsoever. I'm no tiny skinny bloke either.

I'm finding it hard to understand how it could bend that much in a pocket.

That looks like you've sat down with it in your back pocket?
