Yes, that old chestnut!

We all know how the Tamora is the best TVR - yes, really - and it should be no surprise to see prices rising, but, are they...?

Looking in the classifieds there are usually 5 to 10 for sale proving their relative rarity but is it just me, have the prices jumped recently from about £18K on average to £20K plus?...and in the slow sales period that is our winter. There's always the odd cheaper car floating about and usually for a reason but can only be good news for current owners?

Thoughts?

If they are going up I can use this thread as justification to the wife for spending more money on my car...its an investment in 'our' financial future dear...blah...blah

The price of boring cars is going up too.

The Fiesta was the best selling car last year and you can spend £18000 on one of them and still get less than half an engine.

Makes the Tamora a bargain.

Resist. Resist.

Must not mention hairdressers, must not mention hairdressers...

Phew, right.

Yes, I think there is more interest in the car now. The style seems to be coming back in. The prices have seemed
to be rising recently.

I've beaten you to that particular accolade! I'm in the position of never adding up all the costs ever again...

Have to say, they're bloody worth it, though. Not much can beat a well sorted TVR even if that cost is knocking on the door of £30k!

Unusually for a RG car, under £10k...

Wonder if the engine's included... hehe

Seams odd for a speed6 that has done 4k miles to have NO WARRANTY GIVEN OR IMPLIED

I would imagine that, for that price, there is something very wrong somewhere with that Tam - perhaps the engine needs serious attention after the previous rebuild?

K and
Says replacement engine in ad. No mention of rebuild. Probably 2nd hand engine that perhaps needs attention too?
