Running out of fuel... One month ban!

A quick heads-up that a driver who ran out of fuel in a tunnel between Neuchatel & La Chaux de Fonds has been hit with a ban for running out of motion potion. More on this in a story on pleinair.net a news site from across the border. The logic (for which I have a degree of sympathy) seems to be that without fuel your vehicle could become a danger to other road users - let's face it, it's not rocket science to check your fuel gauge to make sure that you can complete your journey.

I guess the upside of all these bans is less traffic :P

Still, I don't see why they can't stick to just fines for stuff like that...
