I'm 50 50 on it, it was definitely exaggerated with editing. But do you think being told to fk off and having rocks thrown is too far fetched? Bearing in mind foreigners turned up in cars covered in slogans that were very insulting to locals... I don't think it's be too difficult to provoke that reaction in England never mind Alabama.

I also reckon that the Argentinian attack did happen in the way described.

Well the Argentinian ambassador to the UK has met with BBC executives and asked for an official apology.

After due consideration and with great humility the BBC reply referenced Arkell vs Pressdram.

Perhaps not exactly that but no apology.
