Today I want something with more rear seat room. How comfortable do you think 3 adults would be in the back of an old 7 series?
I want this one. Partly because of who is selling it.

Strange, I'd avoid that one because of who's selling it.I'd avoid it because Noah PX'd it for the ark.
That and because the vendor offered me £1,200 for my similarly minty and FBMWSH E32 750i SWB with 67k miles on it. I politely declined to accept his gracious offer and sold it for £3,800 (having paid £2,400 for it myself - and admittedly spent £650 on removing a couple of bork gremlins) a few weeks later.
At £6k it's reaching beyond the stars for what it is. I'd imagine th ephone might start ringing if it were up at around £4k. I'd be inclined at that point myself, were it not a wrong wheelbase.

It's a shame as he does have a rather minty looking Funf for sale:

There's every possibility they're great. But he's prone to exaggeration ("rust free" means "rusty arches", for example) and he invites you into the back of an old Transit camper to do the paperwork... which is odd.Plus an E30 that's a dead ringer for my first car:

The wheels would have to go or become less gold though.

Driver's seat doesn't move fore and aft, air con doesn't work, instrument cluster doesn't work, electric aerial doesn't work, brake lights don't work, driver's seat back is twisted, the brakes are binding, the body has rust, the bumpers are a bit shagged and it's on TRXs.
This on a car that was described to me on Friday as everything working and just two small blemishes on the body.
Shame, because it could've been a nice old bus. One owner from new, and has done 200 miles between the last 5 MOTs.

It's certainly done it no favours.
In other news, I put the M5 into the local BMW dealer yesterday to get an inspection done for the prospective new owner, and to sort a couple of little things while it's there. Apropos of nothing, they offered to halve the labour rate to £75/hr inc VAT, which was nice. Bet they don't offer that when I put the X5 in next.
