Congrats man! Our second arrives theoretically in 2.5 weeks but really any day now. We will also be moving to 2 larger cars.
The B10 and something for her other than the WRX. Likely estate or X5.

Good Thanks! Not as thirsty as expected actually. Getting about 25mpg on the commute. Not an 'agile' car but certainly good fun. The noise is the best bit. The big service was expensive but its made a big difference so im happy. Hoping that it may even increase in value given the rarity. *wishful*

I hear you on the E36, can only go up. My ideal one would be a launch version 3L in Dakar. The one with the yellow grille. followed closely by Diamond Schwartz!

Im hoping to get a shed for the winter, there's been a Focus MK1 floating about the family for years and my brother is looking at new cars so hopefully i'll bag it.

Oddly, I can't remember the colour but there won't have been two in the area! It came out of Tooley St and went down Southwark St as I was cycling home.

Looks nice. The seller also has the most amazing E91 M3. You can see it in the garage pics. Probably the best conversion in the UK, if not Europe.

Thanks! Last day of pat leave today. Done some laundry, emptied the bins, sterilised some bottles, visited the midwife, lunch at the pub, changed a couple of nappies... How life's changed!

Depending on budget, the e61 isn't a bad barge. Ours is base petrol SE spec, with no leather and few toys, but it's a safe, easy to drive, comfortable, spacious old thing. Doesn't feel particularly "premium", especially compared to the B10. But it does the job, and all for sub-£4k.

I'm trying to persuade Mrs Grubes we should chop it in for a Defender 110. She's not amused and so I suspect the old 523i is going to be a keeper.

As our resident lurker of BMW forums I can tell you that belongs to a chap on E90 Post (it is also advertised on there http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=100... ). If you have a sniff around his old posts you might find out more about the car of course.

I think the car has Logic 7 but he's either not aware or hasn't pointed it out.

I remember it being for sale about 18 months ago in the wider market and I think it had 60-65k on the clock back then, so I presume the mods are all relatively low mileage.

Nice car. Best wheels for an SE too.

Really like that. Love the engine, and they are my favourite wheels for a 3 series (better than the M Sport wheels - I know, I am strange...). Like the SE look generally.

You want a massive boot - depends on your definition of massive I guess (and what you are comparing to), but I don't remember the boot being massive (eg. compared to a B8 A4, say).

I think that's been for sale for a wee while. I avoided the 335 as there's a bit more potential bork and I don't like the engine as much as the NA. It's also black, which is SleepEnvy can't keep clean I am not even going to contemplate. Nice grunty understated wagon though. FWIW a Spanish 330i touring is a hard thing to find. Of course, I found one circa 3 hours after putting a deposit on an E90. #lawofthesod
