Aye, would probably get steering wheel re-done all in black but seats I could live with.
Do your guys do trimming? My steering wheel needs doing.

Patrick, that'll sound epic!

Royal Steering Wheels are meant to be excellent, could do with giving them some money myself.

It'll sound something like this I believe- http://vimeo.com/3533207

That CL600 sounds awesome, nobody would ever suspect what was approaching.

I remember being at a RR day at Charlie's with an M5 with similar setup. On the plus side, it sounded like a NASCAR. On the downside, it sounded like a NASCAR.

Nice noise, but the antithesis of an M5, no?
I have debated that but whatever way you cut it, more noise is required. It's meant to be civil when cruising and I don't hear of many owners changing back. AMG can get away with silly sounds and I'd like the same.

Plus a colleague just got an S4 (V8) with a powerflow exhaust so I can hardly allow him to one-up me, can I? hehe

Before you send a wheel to Jack @ Royal do a search for some recent reviews, all is not well.....

Going to do the same with the Alpina. New suspension being fitted shortly and have ordered some motorised exhaust cutouts...
You can take the boy out of the colonies...

Rather than an X5 wouldn't you prefer a ute?

He did my wheel and it is very good. I have read the posts in the threads mentioned above however, I would certainly try him again.

Close mate has had 3

Ref royal steering wheels, I had a good few emails with him, agreed on a price and design. Asked to go ahead and he wanted paying via paypal, I'm not a fan so asked if I could pay another way - bank transfer etc and he just never bothered to reply.

All the work I've seen first hand has looked excellent to me - I'd definitely use him again. Not seen how good the Transcal refurbed CSL wheels are though

He did my wheel in the Alpina and John's in the M3, both good work. So positive first hand experience.
His English is not the best, so maybe email isn't ideal. you're better off calling him and arranging everything in my experience.
