An eloquent summary indeed. Only for the E61, I'd have to change the 18 to a 17...

Still, it didn't stop us motoring to the Dordogne this summer - what a way to travel (and trip average a pleasantly surprising 20, despite 5 bikes on a tow hook rack)

In other news, I'm really enjoying not having to listen to Diesel engine since the X5 sold. Much as I liked that car, the noise it made had no redeeming features. For a four-banger to sound better shows how dreary it is!
