Sub-£3k blobeye Impreza WRX PPP - good idea or not? Had my head turned by that silver one Loon posted a few days ago but not sure that's the one. I do fancy a wagon though. And the PPP bit.

Would I need to spend more for a safe purchase, or are there good cars at that budget?

Vauxhall? An alleged 320bhp with four wheel drive, and probably the only one you'll see in a lifetime of ownership. smile

Plus the vat.

Still hard to ignore.

Any links? Fancy a change.

Someone recently said that a Golf is the perfect car for someone who doesn't know what car they want.

I'm not sure that answers the "modern 'grale" question, but that does looks stunning. All tarted up to sell, I'm sure, but it looks like a lot of car for £10k. Aren't these on the up, too?

Despite it being anodyne, I think the Golf R is the modern equivalent of an Integrale.

I'd have suggested £13-15k's of Escort Cosworth.

Until I looked at the classifieds.

What the hell happened there? Did they just double in price overnight??

I love the look of these pre-Evo Integrales. Surprisingly wide and great stance.

With Audis like the S3, is there something that can done with the suspension and geometry that livens them up a bit? I wonder if looking at the setups of a MkV Golf GTI and even a recent Impreza would give any clues. For Olly's question, they would make an appealing answer if more fun could be extracted from within the sober suit.

And more for Socks: 5 litre V10 bragging rights, meets economy requirements, and girl will love it. Not sure about driving dynamics though ... hehe
