To be replaced, by most likely contender at the moment (I bought two by accident) by a Swift Conqueror. 600/4. Big ol van, but lovely!
Bought 2 caravans by accident? That's an achievement! What types and price?
Bought a stonking huge conqueror swift 600, and a Lunar Delta 500-2 HL. I'm keeping the Delta, decided tonight. Its a lovely van, not too big, considering its just me at the moment, and has everything done to it. Fully serviced last week, 4 new tyres, the works. And I paid a shade over £1200 for it, which is a bargain!!

Im picking it up Sunday, as Ive just sold one towcar, and the new one is having its towbar fitted on wednesday. Ill post up some pictures on Sunday of it.

Yeh, twin axle, A/C on the roof, big old gal!! I think mine is slightly shorter than yours, not much though!

Size doesnt fuss me, I thread a artic trailer through our yard at work, that people panic with Transit's in. Size isn't the issue, and its max laden is 1580kgs, my car, will tow 1600! Result!
I thought you had the Range Rover now?!

I had the FFRR Vogue, got bored. Decided to pimp around in the GF's TDV8 sport for a while, but I just didn't have the love for them.

I ended up with a nice range of vehicles from work to pick from, so I choose a comfy car for home use, and to tow the van when I don't have a pickup at work with a towbar. Got a Rover 75 2.0 CDT Conn Auto Saloon. Towing limit 1600kgs, 100kgs noseweight, self leveling rear suspension, it seems like an easy towcar for me

Was that the one on Ebay recently? You selling it again? Mind you might be a bit old for us as potentially getting a newer one and that would be a similar age to our existing van.

Thats the puppy. However, I wouldn't want to sell it to a PH'er having looked over it to be completely fair with you. Hence keeping the older Lunar!

Ooops, I am terrible. eBay causes me many issues, meaning I now have two caravans. Swift has gone, just the lunar, and this elddis to add to the fleet! Along with a horsebox that eBay made me buy the other day! Beer plus Mobile App, dangerous! A quick pic of the new caravan on the way home tonight

Having recently returned from a 10 dayer in Cornwall touring around in my VW T5 conversion, I still find myself glancing at Caravans. Each of them have their pro's & con's and space is the biggest advantage of a Caravan (plus the ability to drive after setting up camp), but I really wouldnt have fancied going down some of those Cornish roads with a van on the back. Barely enough width with the van!

Too old for a caravan? How young do you think caravanners are?

I really see no point in a camper van, due to the need to pack up every time you want to go out, having your pitch stolen whilst you are out (which we managed to do last year!) etc.

Mind you you can do a coffee or bacon sandwich whilst out!

Elddis Hurricane GT. Its a 2 berth, with rear bathroom. Had a damn good scrub of it today, loaded it up with some gear, and intend on trying it next weekend. SHould be fun!

Nice rig smile

We're only just 30 but are usually the youngest on site. We use c&c club sites and you do tend to get younger families etc, mainly camping though.

With an 19 month old and another on the way we are really considering a caravan as I doubt two kids will behave long enough to pitch a tent.

Well the new caravan, its doing well!

4 outtings, and a full intention to hit Europe for new year in a few months time. Im loving the extra space (not too bad when its just me!), and Ive done a few little repairs, and upgrades. For the money, £1242, its not a bad ol thing! And the awning it came with, well, turned out pretty nice too!

Cool!

We are taking the kids to Longleat in half term.

Staying at the caravan club site. Should be good as it coincides with Longleat's Halloween and fireworks spectacular.

£160 for 4 of us, including caravan, awning, EHU and 2 day pass for Longleat. Great value!

Longleat is excellent, and it's a lovely little park. We went for the fireworks last year, it was very good when it finally got started (they were about half an hour late).
