The Official Manchester United Thread [Vol 4]
Discussion
It's hard to back peddle at pace. It's similar to a wrong footed keeper, the ball might only be a matter of inches away, but if you're heading the wrong way, the. You've no chance.
Amos was a long way out of his goal and getting back with a ball that might be "hanging" but is still travelling at a fair old pace will still be pretty much impossible

It was better! The ball was coming across from the left into my stride. I (mis)hit it with my right shin and then boot and it flew up in the air about 30 feet, then dropped like a stone once over the keeper and about 2 feet from the goal line and just made it under the bar, but probably bounced before it fully crossed the line. I was on the edge of the area, the keeper on his 6 yard line.
I readily admit now that it was a complete mist, I'm not sure how it happened and never got close to ever doing it again.

Get off the thread and go to the Emptihad.
I'm not convinced Chelsea will be big improvement from last season.Get off the thread and go to the Emptihad.
Arsenal wouldn't know what a title challenge was if it bit them on the arseNE.
And I fully expect Brenda Rogers to be a one-season wonder.
Would you take 3rd place if it was offered now?

I've not seen the match but what made it awful? I just worry that lots of goals and victories in friendlies is irrelevant and want to know that we're playing with a bit of style and passion.
Aside from the goals it was very congested and neither keeper had to do anything apart from the shots that flew in.Edited by LoonR1 on Sunday 27th July 11:25
First ten minutes united were dreadful Roma could have been 2-0 up,then united dominated until half time ,then 9 players changed and second half was dire.
Lots of potential in the system but some flaws need ironing out,and we're clearly lacking players in some positions.

We'll be analysing them for sure once the season gets going.

I think it is more the way that you do it and not that you are just keeping tabs.

Citeh couldn't possibly excite me. Not even close....You seem excited by City!
...me and the rest of the 5-a-side team dress up as Condorman on the 1st Sunday of each month.
We got a very attractive fixture with Internazionale on Wednesday.
