No.

I think we have a chance because of how expensive he is and PSG have FFP restrictions. If they care about those restrictions is another matter. If PSG want him enough, they'll get him I reckon.

But I think we're in with a decent chance.

He'll go where he wants to go in the end. He'll already have decided whether he wants to play in the BPL or in the French backwater league, nothing much will change his mind on that.

Yep. I still can't understand how Real managed to get Kroos for only 25M. We could/should have gazumped that by £10M + & it would still have been good business.

I couldn't agree more. It's an absolute sideshow, teams holding other teams to ransom by not releasing players until just before the window closes, ridiculous transfer fees, players that are owned by Tom, Dick and Harry etc. etc.

The sooner they just have the transfer window open 24/7 the better.

I made exactly that point to GTO-3R earlier in the thread. I'd rather the window went and the values returned to slightly more reasonable levels.

I doubt it would lower transfer fees either. Just lost a key midfielder to a cruciate injury? The price of the guy you want to replace him with goes through the roof.
