Can't understand why Utd would let Welbeck go to Arsenal...unless they pull the deal at the last minute for the stitch up.
For the same reason we sold Torres to Chelsea? hehe

Interesting transfer window this has been! And to think a week ago we were in demise, be ten years to recover and our chances of attracting world class talent were over.

Chich and Welbeck out and Di Maria and Falcao in. Enhanced the options up front somewhat.

A starting line up assuming full fitness could be.....

De Gea
Rafael Jones Rojo Shaw
Herrera Blind Di Maria
Rooney
Falcao Van Persie

Bench would/could include Carrick, Mata, Smalling, Janujaz.....All of a sudden the squad is looking pretty strong again.

God help everyone else if Ed Woodward masters transfer dealings!
LvG plays 3 at the back. Been said a few times.

Rumours of him needing a knee op.

No, Louis Van Goals plays the system that suits the players at his disposal. He played 532 at the World Cup prior to that 433 was his preferred formation. The players now at his disposal have changed somewhat over the last week or so. Take a look at his Ajax team that won the European Cup. It seems to me that this transfer window is moving the squad in exactly that direction.

Mate don't bother, I've been trying all day, I think people don't want to hear it.

Great isn't it, it also doesn't include Blind, an honest to goodness DM. smile

I've been so excited by this last week and blown away today I keep attempting to share my excitement with the wife, she is doing her best to feign interest bless her smile

hehe Same here. I've been jumping around and punching the air in front of her face. She's not too interested but that's a good thing cos she's cooking tea and I'm hungry. thumbup

Strong rumours he needs an op and may be returning to his traditional Arsenal appearance ratios

So attack is the best form of defence. Reminds me of the 2012-2013 season where United were woeful at defending and RVP pretty much won the club the premiership by just outscoring the opposition.
