PROBLEMS AT UTD.

IMO It's not the personnel that's the current issue with Utd, it's our shape and the way the team is setup.
We do not have anyone in the midfield capable or instructed to take the ball forward into the final third.

Our drive whilst carrying the ball is mainly from Smalling or Evans out of the back. Their forward runs, carrying the ball only takes us over half way. All well and good, but the ball is then going sideways every time. Occasionally our flank men get it to have a little run at them.

Where are our ball carriers..? Yesterday's game opened up when we had a forward working hard - Wilson and a midfielder who took the ball forward - Fellaini. The old rear guard of Falcao, RVP, with Rooney playing like a crab isn't going to hurt the bottom clubs letalone the top boys.

Pundits and supporters alike, say that our defence is a problem.. It Is.. But none more so that the way we are setting up the team. Whilst we are stil winning scrappy games, LVG will be forgiven, unlike Moyes.

We all know LVG is a world class manager, but do you think his philosophies are suited to the Premiership..? The players are showing patience on the pitch and the supporters also, but when does that run out..? The game is won when we score more goals than the opposition, not bore them into submission and wait until they make a mistake.
Have you read lvg's book ? I haven't it apparently he does not like 'dribblers' ,or rather too many .
Apparently di Maria is the designated dribbler with januzai the back up,based on apost on redissue ,I have I idea how reliable that is .

I bet you don't wear a Spurs shirt on holiday do you? Can't see it BCM. You write too well for a chav.

I don't wear wuch stuff. Being neither under 12 years old nor 'a bit council' as they say elsewhere in The Lounge.

What's wrong with wearing a football shirt on holiday if it's allowed? I take my Scotland top with me when I go for my September hols to somewhere hot in Europe but I wouldn't wear it during my Feb hols in Cancun/Barbados/Jamaica as the hotels I visit there have dress codes.

Edit - thinking about it, I wouldn't wear my West Ham top abroad, I guess club football shirts are a bit chavvy!

Reckon a West ham shirt would get recognised abroad BB ?

In all fairness The wearing of a football shirt on holiday is always an ice breaker especially in the caribbean where they can't get enough of the premier league.

Wonder if Mike Ashley has thought about opening a shop in downtown Negril ?

The Med in summer.
A Scotsman in his footie shirt having a beer in a bar.
Me, I'd walk on by. On account of being overly judgemental and all that!
A Hammers shirt would attract no attention at all. Unless some half cut Brummie mistook it for a Villa shirt.

I'm in antigua at this moment, honestly I haven't seen a single football shirt anywhere.(saying that I've barely moved off the beach)

Turning matters back to football, there's an open transfer window.

Why aren't we buying a defender or two?
