anyone recommend any companies that specialise in classic insurance for a friend of mine

Car in question is 18 years old but i'm led to believe some companies will consider classic as 15 years or older.

Will be used a weekend car so maximum mileage would only be 5000 miles max.

classiclineinsurance.co.uk - no affiliation, have just used them now for a number of years for a variety of cars. Have been easy with a windscreen claim; fortunately am presently uanble to comment about more substantial claims. smile

Hi tbc,

I can comment from an Adrian Flux perspective, if that helps.

It really depends on the type of car that you're looking to get covered. For example, an 18 year old Ford KA won't go on any of our classic policies, however a 12 year old Elise would go on a few of our classic schemes, so age isn't always the biggest factor.

Thanks,

Ash

I used Lancaster on my MGB for years, and never had any problems with them. I never had to make a claim, though.
