Cleaning a panel filter
Discussion
Hi guys
I bought a mk2 mx5 last year and it's now in the garage having a bit of a winter overhaul.
I whipped the air box off to change the filter, and found a nice upgraded pipercross panel in there. Wondered why the car felt like it had +200 bhp.
Anyway, rather than throw in the cheapo paper filter I bought, I thought I'd clean this one. Having never had an upgraded filter before, what do I clean it with? Can I just wash it in water and ensure it's totally dry, or do I need to use something specific?
