Getting a key cut in Newcastle.

Hi can anyone help me please.

All I want is to get a key cut for one of my cars. It is an old school key no transponder, no complicated key design.

I have tried a locksmith - a guy who knows me - who refused saying it was too hard. I tried a kiosk and just got a load of st from the wker there who insisted it had a chip in it.

It is a simple key of a 2001 MGF. Just an old fashioned key. I used to have similar on a Rover years ago, and got that cut no bother.

I have bought a proper MG blank from an X Part dealer and want to get it copies.

I am in Newcastle. Any help appreciated.

Is there a Timpsons, they should be able to do it.

Most Asda stores have a key cutting machine in them,Usually by the photo bit.If you can get to one.

It has a separate fob.

I had no issue getting a copy of my MGF key made a few years back, maybe try a different locksmiths?
