Looking to lease a car and they have a deal for 4 years. The warranty on the car is 3 years. What happens on the 4th year? I will call them tomorrow but if anyone has any experience please.

Why 4 years?
Why not 2 years and do 2 leases?

There are lots of leases out there where is it just 3x23.

I'd be interested to know the answer to this. I have a salary sacrifice company car on a 4 year agreement. There is no mention of who covers repairs in the 4th year.

Do the leases include service and maintenance?

If not, then repairs are down to the user. Why would the leasing company cover them?

it was a good deal on 4 years instead of 2 two years. The lease is no maintenance. 10k miles a year. Honda 1.6 cdi

If it's a non maintenance agreement then it's up to you to ensure that the vehicle is in roadworthy condition at all times. If something goes wrong that's not covered by the 3 year warranty then you'll need to pay to get it fixed - same if the car is out of its warranty period, it'll be down to you to pay to fix the car.

On a full maintenance contract, all maintenance & servicing costs are covered as part of your monthly rental. You'll still need to pay for any damage to the vehicle of course.

I don't know whether it works on a lease car rather than one you own yourself, but you should be able to get a Honda service contract for 4 years for not a lot of money.

Of all makes, I'd be least concerned about issues at 3-4yrs with a Honda, expecially with the low mileage you'll be doing and with full dealer service history - Honda are very good for goodwill claims. If it really bothers you, then I guess you could buy a Honda extended warranty - again, assuming this is possible on a leased car.

See if you can get a quote for full service and maint for 4 years - I wouldn't expect it would add very much per month.
