I believe Mr Beef of the Welsh variety is (in)famous in these shires... Something to do with bags of sand and pork.

Full mark's for sticking with the pseudonym and continuing to post Welshbeef.

A little bit off topic but recently witnessed two episodes of poor driving which got me thinking,

1) Are Qashqai drivers depressed?
While breaking the speed limit to catch me up I glanced at the chap in my mirror and he looked glum, which got me thinking that most people I know who drive Qashqais' are glum, and perhaps Skoda drivers, although perhaps more odd than glum.

2) Why do Range Rover drivers think that their 3 TDI Sports are fast vehicles?
'Get out of my way tosser' I believed in my head he was saying as the RR was in my ass, they are not fast or indeed nimble, apparently though jolly good off road. Although in Oxfordshire all Range Rovers are fast, seriously fast, faster than the 0 - 60 in 7.9 seconds as quoted, I should know because if one chews at my bumper he aint going nowhere but in front of me, he's king!

If you haven't been back to the match.com thread recently - Mat777's continuing attempts to chat up women on Tinder are cringingly hilarious

Actually, of all the links to cringeworthy stuff in this thread, this sentence is probably the winner of all of them.

rofl only on PH would someone describe 28m as fairly limited.

As a side note, I think the "lucky b********" is actually on here! I'm sure there was a thread about a Lambo he owned.

In context of the word fortune it makes a lot more sense though. He's probably spent around a 1/3 of it on cars, so yes, it is quite a large part of that fortune.

That's what he made selling his business, I'm sure he has amassed more since then/had some behind him when he started.

But he wasn't referring to the percentage spent, he just said it was a limited fortune. That's a ridiculous statement on it's own.
