Funny you mention curry, seemed that every hotel we stayed in in India a few years back had this kind of arrangement. Not ideal IMO

That pool pavilion is lovely and the house is fantastic as well. The whole thing is fantastic without being ridiculous.

Personally I think the pavilion looks dreadful, blocks the view, and I'd pull it down. The rest is fabulous though.
