Ah, my apologies. I found that RH page, read that they were making a recreation, and jumped to conclusions.
Droopsnoot - No need to apologise - that page does lead to confusion.RH did a fantastic job with the body - having spent a while crawling around the car it really is a work of art.
My mate knows the owner of TR Enterprises, who restored the car and he recommended my mate to the owner as a driver.
Nice rarity spotted outside my local fish n chip shop, 1968 (I think he said that) Datsun 1600.
Imported from Texas last year, it's really clean and has had the original 95bhp engine swapped out for a 240sx (US) engine. Nice 155bhp in a 850ish kg classic motor.
Owner was a really nice guy who had a chat, opened the bonnet. Nice speaking to someone who appreciates what they've got!!

At Ouistreham last week a most wonderful collection of pre-war MGs, just having finished a tour of the Charente. No camera handy sadly, but one of the was an MG Tigresse and apparently one of two in existence. Then on the return a lovely Armstrong Siddeley Star just purchased by two French people and being repatriated.
