I visited the classic car restorer who I used to work for today . No photos due to respecting the various owners privacy .
On site among others 1920s Renault , Ferrari Daytona spider (never meet your hero, prefer the coupe) Shelby Mustang, Aston Martin DB5,1930 ford truck, E types of every shape including a flat floor , Rover SD1 twin plenum efi, Rover P5b coupe , things are certainly busy in the Classic car world .

Almost, but the URL for the image is not quite valid in that format.

It should be http://img125.imagevenue.com/aAfkjfp01fo1i-27084/l...

New to me, but seen recently at Kop Hill Climb: 1978 Ford Healey Fiesta.

According to the blurb, the last car that Donald Healey was involved with. A North American-spec Ford Fiesta Mk 1 1600cc with wider wheels and flared wheel arches, spot lamps and Healey badges.

I also had not heard of the Healey Fiesta until last year, when my nephew was contacted by the Healey museum , they wanted him to take his RS over for an exhibition featuring the Fiesta.
his RS was given to Donald/Geoff by Ford at the time of the project, all this history was completley unknown to him before they tracked him down.

Bet that was a rather nice surprise - bit of extra provenance for the car.

Looks a fantastic example too.

While on a painfully slow coach from Plymouth to London my journey was brightened up by (what I think was) a maroon mk11 jag go storming past. Then about an hour later it tore past again with a dark blue Dtype (I assume replica) in tow. Guess it must have pulled off to meet up. Cheered me up a bit. 6ft 5 people don't fit on a mega bus very well.

Apologies for no piccy

And a DB5 just passed in the opposite direction....

And earlier an 70s 5series Alpina. Came off the slip road and vanished pretty rapidly....
