Good grief!

Wonder what engine is in that?

I do like the understated 2CV behind though.
1396cc on the log book! The tinware on the bonnet is not functional, though, is it?

Is this a recent photograph? The vehicle is SORN and no MoT since 27 May 2015. Won't get one, either, with that number plate!

I did my pitifully inadequate best.

Twas in Brizzle.

I'll get a better pic if I go back that way. My driver today isn't a car person despite his profession and couldn't stop. Wouldn't stop, more to the point.

Taken this morning - it's outside my local garage which usually has a selection of quirky classics troubling the locality - also present was a wolseley hornet - haven't seen one for yonks!

Car park in Sainsbury's in Theale today.
Deserves a damn good thrashing.
Basil's wasn't a Countryman, but close enough: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78b67l_yxUc
As it's that time of year, I am forced to say "Oh yes it was".

It looked in reasonable fettle, too. Not in tip-top condition by any means, but useable.

It passed the MoT today! Long list of failure items last month, though. Seems the unlawful number plate has been missed / overlooked yet again!

Sorry to be pedantic but I'm not sure why you are even discussing the Countryman as the car in Sainsbury's is a Morris and therefore is a Traveller - I do need to get out more rofl

Not a car, but definitely classic. And cool, I'd suggest.

In a backstreet in Portslade near Brighton.

If so there really can't be many left by now ?!

The alloys on these are always a standout feature for me, very unusual at the time when they were new, and I think they were Turbo specific ?

I did have an original sales brochure somewhere ....

The design was called Inca but I always think of them as veg-o-matics.

I'm amazed there were only 200 black ones. Back then they all seemed to be black bar a few in that brick red.

Audi 80 B4 Coupe 2.6E in Westbury.

Between '98 and '04 I had a B3 Coupe Quattro with the straight 5. I miss that car. In my perfect world I would have a B4 S2 warmed up to RS2 spec.

Such things exist.
