I nearly pissed myself at Loon's recollection of a helmet cam video he'd seen once, "Right, this is how you ride this road, REALLY FAST". hehe
I did the same first time I heard it 2 years ago hehe

I was going to post a 'Are my Pilot Road 3s worn?' thread, but I think they're ok... for now...

They've been on since early 2012, not sure how many miles ago exactly but I think somewhere in the region of 7000-9000 miles. Fairly amusing since my ride out friends only get 2000 miles out their Pilot Sports etc. and we all ride at a similar pace hehe

Now about a mm away from the wear markers. Front looks great, at least 3mm away from the wear markers.

So a few questions...
  • Can I just replace the rear tyre?
  • And if so, can you still get PR3s, now that PR4s have been released?
  • Are PR4s so awesome over the PR3 I won't regret swapping both tyres for the former?

Yeah just change the front and you can still get them.

Cracking picture apart from the smear on your lens over your registration.

I've not been down it in 2 years. Neither had anyone else by the look of it. Too many trees down and had to give up in the end. It took almost 2 hours to get 6 bikes less than a quarter of a mile.

Nice pics, I need to get my ass up to Scotland soon as cold as it is, half of it is just amazing scenery. The other half is distilleries..

Unfortunately that's the reality, lanes get re-signed as bridleways, but often still byways or the ramblers get arsey & stop motored vehicles using them. The lanes get overgrown due to lack of use - seen it often here in Cornwall.

Don't come up in the winter, going through the hills when its snowy or pissing down is depressing as fk.

I was going to turn back when I couldn't see the hills for the rain clouds, but seeing as I took the day off I pushed on. I was rather glad I did as it soon passed.
