Bikes back together, let's see if the old girl manages more than 3/4 of a lap tomorrow!

Bitter sweet hour this afternoon, finally assembled the Gamma and got out for a run on it, good news it the new cooling system works a treat and it goes, stops and handles lovely, alas my new fork seals havent cured the leak on the LH leg, I think the stanchions may need rechroming so it's off the road for a bit..

Still really pleased with it thou, to my eyes its such a sweet little bike.

Overanalysing again. Why do all newbies do this and the "it'll help me learn to corner stuff". The thing that'll help you learn to corner is looking where you want to go. Simple as that.
Is it not a case of too much, too soon? I don't want to be one of those guys with a great bike that wobbles round corners, and surely I'd learn better use of the gears on a slower bike? Whichever way you slice it, I'll be working up to a Speed Triple eventually (or perhaps a T595 or 995i). The general advice seems to be start small, dream big as a means of learning how to ride well and avoid trips through the scenery.

That's well tidy Vince baby.
Aye cheers. Not mine, took it to work to road test new clutch for owner.

Road test then revealed a few other maintenance issues. One front caliper binding, headstock play, poor idle, carbs out of synch and tyre pressures. Still a very tidy example tho, nothing serious.

Top half being resprayed black to match this year hopefully.

Yeah I like the wheels being bright ,yellow is ok maybe a tad girly! Apparently the red ones are what's becoming sought after but I'd prefer this. Haha podman it's not too bad it's loud but it doesn't get louder

He needs to learn how to put it on a paddock stand and keep it upright.

Everyone needs an R1

The point I was making is to just get on and ride it. Stop stressing the next bike or what level to get to. Make sure you can do it and enjoy it first.

Jacket back form having a new zip put in! This jacket started of a chain of events for me which led to a crash just to finish off the day! Met some nice ph'er s although due to the events of the day I didn't get much time to chat to them.
