Can't remember, it's standard width for an rrn.

Photographer was right down low, maybe that's why?

Cracking picture - one to keep. It sure is a pretty bike.
I will second that.

How do you go about taking a photo like that with the bike more crisp that the background ?

Use a wider aperture. This was at f/1.6

That's a cracking photo also. Sounds like I need a better camera then don't think I can do that on my bridge one.

Nope, your bridge will probably drop to 5.6 at the most

Looks good, but can I just ask what you've changed to there and why?

I'm considering a Fireblade myself and curious what you managed to find!

I would say so, have them on my trumpet and think they are fantastic.

Don't say that word: 'summer'!!

How long is your garage? For something with your name, I expected the garage floor to either be covered or painted? biggrin
smile

My garage is 40FT long... smile ... which is the reason it is not painted smile

The dirty shock is the original 2010 shock... the clean one is from a 2013 fireblade which is know as 'twin tube', 'balance free' and has much immproved valving over the original.

More info here: https://rideapart.com/articles/the-cbr1000rrs-bala...

As to why... I don't rate the original shock, the spring is fine, the damping is crude.

Good to hear, I'm getting them fitted on the Daytona this Friday.
If I like them I'll get them for the Street Triple as well.

Yep... have run them for 5,000 miles so far. I prefer them over the pilot power 3's ... they don't last like the pilot power 3's but it just means I'm buying front and rears individually now rather as pairs so no biggie.

About 4-5k from rear, 7-8k from the front... the pilot power 3's did 8k the pair.

Cheers. It's really light dependant, can look a bit boring when it's miserable weather.

Looks great in the sun though (well I think so anyway) smile

Doesn't look quite as good now with the scuff marks down one side though, will get it repainted when I can be bothered.
