Liked the look of that Z1 so went to have a wee nosey at prices. £30k! I hope Mike didn't pay anywhere near that!
It was for sale at £24,995. I don't know what he 'eld out 'is 'and for.

There was one sold at the Silverstone auction for £17k. It was for sale at Hexagon recently for £30k.

I saw a red Z1 on the A4 east of Reading the other day - only a few miles from Bracknell, so wonder if it was this WD car... I've never previously seen one on the road. Didn't get the registration unfortunately.

Thuderbird tonight isn't it?

Always good to see a new series of WD though: I know the show has its detractors but I really enjoy it.

Me too. Although I won't be watching it live - I prefer to watch it recorded or time-delayed so that I can fast-forward through the adverts, and also skip all the "Owwwd ahhht yer aaaaand" malarky, and get right down to Edd's spannering.

Anyone got a link to watch it live online.

Some soppy planks in my family have decided they want to watch Long Lost Family.

Undoubtedly it will be repeated. Hopefully soon, because my Sky signal was out for much of the evening so it probably failed to record. I watched a Bluray instead.

Yep, not really much wrong with the car in the first place.

Just in case anyone missed yesterday's episode, it appears to be available on On Demand already. It's also repeated today at 1pm and 7pm (Discovery and Discovery HD, plus the usual +1 channels), then again on Friday at 10pm and again on Saturday at 1am.

They do like repeating it don't they...

Including spending 5 mins repeating what happened in the previous segment of the show after every break. There's probably only about 20 mins of footage in each episode!

I think this must be a (annoying) stipulation by the US channels - they obviously think that their viewers have the memory of goldfish....

I thought it was a well polished episode. Certainly better than anything else that will be on TV this week.
Loved all the Gadget-O-Matic options on that car.
