Mistubishi Pinin engine problems

I've recently bought a Mistubishi Pinin with the GDI engine (petrol) as a project to work on. Bought it from another PHer for the pricely sum of £60

Now, it won't start. Previous owner narrowed it done to the microfilters in the high pressure fuel pump but I've only had half an hour to scope out issues so far (Including pushing the car into the unit & getting the bonnet off for access!)

Anyone had any experience of these? I know these engines can suffer from getting 'coked up' from town driving but I know it's not that.

google is throwing up many answers but no guides as such!

Have an ask on pocuk.com/forums - quite a few people over there with experience of the GDIs, mainly in the full-size Shoguns, but the theory's the same.
