Hi everyone,

Just a brief update for you regarding the event and whats going on for your enjoyment, but I will not mention any trade names today…………..:roll eyes:

We now have support from an official Aston Martin Dealership who will be on hand with a static display of cars for your investigation.

A certain Aston Martin Specialist will be on hand fitting Exhaust by pass switches on the day for £50.00 a pop which they are kindly donating to charity,Mike's team
will be available to answer any questions you may have in general about your car or any enhancement.

If you would like to have you car fitted please contact me by pm to join those that have already registered their interest,as we have limited time for these to be fitted it will
be done on a first come basis.

Before my previous over enthusiastic thread was pulled 7 people managed to respond with Woolie being the quickest off the mark so he heads the list,I still have allotted spaces
for about 20 more fitments if you fancy it.

I'm pleased to reveal that the leading Protection Film Company are attending the event and will be on hand to offer their advice and services to protect your P&J…………….

As part of our charity drive this most generous locally based Company has put forward a Stand Protection Kit fully installed at their Peterborough Workshop,(Guam) or Tom as most will
know him informs me the kit is valued at circa £1000.

As this is a major donation you might like to consider making a closed bid for it which may be handed in on the day,the winning bidder will be revealed on the day when we do the raffle.
Tom tells me that the winning bidder may up grade this kit to a full body protection if they wish and just pay the difference.

Whilst on about the blind auction I have a very generous offer on the table from a kind hearted company that played host to our Christmas Cracker event in December, they have donated
an Annual Service for an Aston Martin.

To make your bid for this please hand in your bid on the day along with your e-mail address and phone number and the winner will have a service at their convenience,to give you a clue
this prize is valued at circa £800 to £900 pending on your car.

Well there's a little bit of an update for you but I'm working on plenty more for your enjoyment which I will post up nearer the time.

Finally with all these newbies about how about getting a few more on the sticky attendee's list at the top of the page, there's a lot of grass to fill at Burghley and it would be nice to support
the above not mentioned Companies for there kind help and consideration.

If any one has any questions regarding the event or wish to make a bid if they are unable to attend the event on the day please pm me to lodge your bid.

Thanks a lot………smile

Ed.

Because Ed has been working so hard on this and where the money will be going, I would like to offer a one day enhancement detail valued at £350 to be added to the blind auction. This way more money will be raised rather than just putting it in a raffle. I've already spoken to Ed about this.

The winning bidder will have me come to their house or paintshield if you also win that auction, where i will spend the day making your pride and joy shiny. As all cars are different, if it requires more than a day spent on it, then we can sort something out. You'll be surprised what can be done in a day (about 13 hours) especially if you have a vantage.

The objective is to raise as much money as possible, so remember to dig deep people.

Francis

I think you just email Ed with bids for the various things and the highest bidder wins.

Thanks Paddy,

Your generosity is very much appreciated and hopefully some one out there will step up to the plate with a mighty bid.

Bids for any of these donations can be pm'd to me to be held in confidence or alternatively you can hand in a sealed envelope on the day with your bid inclosed
along with all your contact details.

Please put on the outside of the envelope what item you are bidding for whether it be,

1, The Annual Service.

2, The Paint Protection Film Application.

3, The Full Day Paddy Enhancement.

Or for what ever is donated next if we should be so lucky …………….

Thanks again Paddy.

Ed

Cant wait for this and thank you for all the time and effort you are putting into what I am sure will be an amazing success.

Can believe hotels in Stamford have sold out so fast, I managed to get in at the Haycock in Wandsford, anyone else staying there on the night of the 26th?

Would be great to know, as could arrange a meal or something in the evening if anyone is interested, for folks like me who weren't quick enough to join all the fun at the George!

Bring on the 26th/27th!

Nice one David,

You'll be fine in the Haycock it's another very famous old place, the Paper Mills just over the road is also very nice and the food there is excellent so if you don't
fancy the Haycock Menu wander over you won't be disappointed.

Wansford is lovely your right next to a very old bridge that crosses the old river Nene so remember to take the camera as a picture or two with the Aston would be good.

It'll only take you about 10 minutes to get to Burghley from there as its just up the A1.
