M3 proposed emissions related 60mph limit

Just when we thought it couldn't get much worse they now propose a 60mph limit (enforced by grey SPECS) owing to emissions....

Total piss take as its most likely the trucks already limited to 56mph that are largely responsible!

It must be true because I read it in the Daily Mail.

DM manages to get EU and war on motorist into the same article. Wonder if they work in single mothers, immigrants and cancer as well?

I think the daily mail writing an article about something on average makes it marginally less likely to be true than if no-one had ever said anything about it.

Besides, judging by how poor the quality of driving is on that top bit of the M3 I wouldn't be surprised if an ANPR enforced 60 limit actually increased the average speed, at least in the rush.
