Luckily the cover hadn't completely come off.

I was expecting the worse when we lifted the gate away...



but MIRACULOUSLY(!) - holy mother of god - it seems that British GRP is made of sterner stuff and will not be troubled by a mere glancing blow of a brick wall coming down!!!

No visible damage to either bodywork or paint







(My wheels on the other hand are oxidising quite nicely and need attention)

It went 'Smash' just like your forum name. These Wedges are made of tough stuff, and you were lucky. Couple of my neighbours fences went flying too but luckily in the back garden. Nice wedge. Look after it.

Yep - it was a brick wall. I think it was the ivy to blame - acting as a drag chute. To be fair the wall is free standing i.e. gate at either end so really should've had some support I suppose. If I'd have bothered to put a car port in I reckon the wall would still be up as it'd be braced on one end.

Yes - lottery ticket defo!!!

I guess this proves two things:

1. There is a god and 2. He loves wedges!

Definately,did this for my wedge.Dry and safe with very little condensation.Wouldnt take too much work to extend that existing shed.That wedge looks smashing ......sorry getmecoat

FFS...My heart sunk when i saw your first post...What a fecking result mate...I was fighting with my cover at 03.00am this morning..I looked out there and it was like a parachute flying above it!...God does love TVR's and he explained to me this morning that all this shyte weather is necessary for the sweltering summer that will start at the end of may...Just in time for the fest...Halle-Fugging-lujah...Ziga

Once you have re-polished them there are alloy wheel waxes that will protect them or a good way is to wipe them over with some WD40...Ziga
