Not so keen on this trailer - it looks too mainstream and serious. If that had been the first one I'd seen I wouldn't have thought much of the film.

I much prefer the one where everyone is laughing up their sleeves that the main guy calls himself "Star Lord". It was more quirky and off-the-wall.

You've got to have something with a bit of gravitas otherwise people not in the know will start thinking its a comedy. Still nothing to complain about from me.

Fair enough.

Speaking as someone not in the know, though, I liked the first trailer and this one was "meh" for me.

But each to their own, vive la difference, and it would be a very boring world if we were all the same.

Lots of clips, lots of trailers selling it by saying "from the studio that brought you Iron Man......" and many more, that or using "from the director of...." always sounds desperate to me.
