Emma...at Thunder Road I was having problems getting it out of gear while applying serious Revs wink and had to drop revs to change gear... The oil had been changed so it's not that...So now I'm looking at getting an LS7 clutch done this year for the RO...
Along with all the other bits that need doing while box is out...yes

So I too would be very interested in peoples thoughts on this... scratchchin

What reason do you think you need it for?

Occasionally I get crappy shifts and a reluctance to go into gear.

I have Tick's T56 Magnum lv5 gearbox and I'm very happy with it so I've no reason to doubt this product will also work as described.

I also have a problem with clutch pedal travel (CV8), even after fitting a brand new LS7 clutch and new slave cylinder. Seems to need to be on the floor to get a gear change.

I know what Emma's saying; the extra travel slows up the gear changes.

Did vaguely recall Roger saying that the earlier GTS's have the adjustable ones fitted??? (Must have a look)

One of these going on when I change my rear crank seal shortly.
Extra fluid flowed and ability to move the biting point was interesting for me to see if I can improve the gear shift with the heavier clutch.

Didn't G get one? Not that it means it's fitted to provide any feedback... smile

It will only flow more fluid if it is a larger diameter than factory.

Or if there is a huge amount of slop in the standard linkage and it removes a little of that.

They have a larger bore cylinder and adjustable linkage.

5/16 bore instead of 3/8 bore. Only a slightly firmer pedal and the fluid seems to stay cleaner and the shifts are easier especially when cold

Part number??

Does it fit straight on? Is the pedal travel less with this mod?

OEM master is a 3/4" bore, ie near 19mm.

With the sizes you're stating you must be referring only to the actuating rod with the threaded bit.

Must be 7/8" then?

Maybe my physics is shot but would not having it smaller force the clutch out faster.
