If you park in Newcastle you could go and visit the 03 arena or punch a horse.... wink

Anyway there will be plenty of secure parking, I should know but I always get the train or metro to the games.....

You'll be best off parking in one of the 3 big multistorey carparks in the city centre and then walking across to the stadium. St Mary's Way would probably be best as its right next to the bridge across the river.

Make sure to get there early or you'll not get a space

St marys way or the cinema car park would be the best option. It's only a 10 minute walk over the bridge from there.

St Mary's multi-storey, just over the bridge from the stadium, has previously won some "most secure" car park type award. Just make sure you get there earlier as it is popular on match days.

Personally, I wouldn't worry that much. When I was at home at New Year I parked my car (with German plates) in deepest, darkest Millfield (not the nicest part of town) on match day and had no issues whatsoever.

The best place is just south of Watford Gap or just before the M1 turns from tarmac to cobblestones.

Joking aside, considering you drive a Nissan Micra why are you actually worried? Is it your mums ?

Get her to knit a 30 darn security cover quick !

Even less to worry about if you drive a Nissan, every other car is one of them in Sunderland.

The University is based at several campuses around town. On match days you can pay to park in the University Library car park, but the streets surrounding it don't have any parking restrictions.
