Had the car on the laptop as its been running rough and very rich on banks 123 (I think) Found that Lambda 1 was sitting at 0 and on the trace occasionally gave a hiccup but only to 0.2V max. Have taken the offending sensor off and was wondering, Quick check of a multimeter and the red and white wires are shorting out to each other. Even if this was the heater I would expect there to be some resistance. Any ideas if they should be like this on the sensor? 3 wires, red, white and black.

Resistor between red and white should be around 6 Ohms as this is the heater coil

Thanks for that. I won't throw it away just yet. Measured at 6.5 ohms. Was just showing 0 as I was on too high a scale.
