So what time is the kick off for this? When would you recommend we arrive by to get parked?
8.30am is the start time. It gets busy but I don't think we've ever had people unable to park at all.
It does get very tight if you arrive any later than 9:30ish I'll say.
Thanks for the heads up here chaps, early kick off for sure then thumbup

Driving over from Sheffield for a quite early start then thinking a blast on the moors afterwards regardless of the weather.

Imagine with malton being on and generally being an easter sunday the moors will be packed and should be a good laugh

As JWB rightly says, a cracking day for the Yorkshire Big Breakfast, at 6.45am it is clear, dry, mild (8 degrees and warming up) and the sun is beginning to peep out, perfect weather for the Yorkshire Big Breakfast. Have a great safe drive here everyone, don't forget the police will be about and we'll see you soon.

I woke up rather too late and it'll take too long to get there now :/ Oh well, enjoy the day!

Got there at 8am and was very busy already! Some lovely motors today including a GT40, Aventador, Mclaren 12c, and a very rare Spyker that was attracting some big attention.

Top morning out as always, big thanks once again the the guys at the Porsche Garage for hosting such an awesome event. See you all again in the autumn!

I arrived v early and left at 09:30 ish. Very good turn out.
Unfortunately, at the time I was leaving, the estate was full and the marshals were having to turn cars away. There was some very nice metal that had nowhere to park.
Not wishing to sound snobby, but its getting to the point where the Max Power brigade are taking over and a lot of the cars that they presumably have come to see, can't get parked.

I would say, top marks to the Blinged up Corsa pilot, (with the seat titled so far back that I could only see his back to front baseball cap!) who managed to get his million watt BANGING TUUUUUNZ sound system to vibrate the Portaloo (that I was in) so violently that I thought it was going to fall over!

Precisely the reason we didn't come today. First time in several years of attending but the event is not what it once was. Used to be loads of exotic cars at the early ones but it has been overtaken by the hot hatch numbers.

There were a good few Max Power type cars, but the number of fantastic motors made it more than worthwhile for me!
DB6, F12, Aventador, Ford GT, General Lee, Murci... not bad for a Sunday morning!

Couldn't make it over today, so some pictures would be good.

Totally agree, I took a mate that hasn't been before saying how many supercars come and I think about 20% today were supercars!

I don't mind the focus, megs & clios, and some jap but chav cars and standard everyday cars parked up left it hard for any supercars to find spots

Hey us hot hatch owners are petrol heads too you know, we just cant afford Ferraris yet smile

My Fiesta ST2 is even in the pics above smile

The guy in the red corsa was a total bellend though and thought he was at some cruise at a retail park!

Should have judges on the way in directing you where to park, or turning you away if your in a pile of st corsa b with 15" subwoofers!

Cracking day. Great drive over and a decent-ish drive home with a Porsche C4S /w aerokit, shame it was a bit busy.

Think the Corsa B mobile stereo got lost on the way to a Maccy D's meet. Funny watching him sat in his car chuffed to bits that his entire car was vibrating down the road biggrin

I can't talk anyway, I only drive a Type R smash

One pic from me which pretty much sums up the day. A bit too many hatchbacks with some seriously beautiful metal. (My car is the crap hatchback in the background driving)

Ok one more...

Big thanks to Specialist Cars for another great Big Breakfast.

Have to agree about the Max Power brigade, although I would have added to the swathes of hot hatches had I come in mine (not one other Lupo GTI there though!), as it turned out I went with my dad in his 996 Turbo.

We haven't been since this time last year and I was shocked by how big the event has become - I do think though that turning certain cars away is a recipe for upsetting people, at the end of the day everyone is there because they have a passion for cars and if you want to get parked, get up earlier wink

Also thumbs up to the guy in the red 205 GTI who kept up with us from Stamford Bridge to Malton, we weren't hanging around but we couldn't shake him off, top driving thumbup
