Sounds like you need to check out some greasy spoons in your area over the next few weeks. All in the name of research you understand.

Cwm carn scenic drive has a good café and a large carpark but have to pay think it's £1 for 2 hours but the food is lovely and good value. (Btw my mam is the head cook there and it's half price for me).

Im up for it only in blackwood so pretty close to me.

Yeah I'd be up for a breakfast meet. Seem to be quite a few of us around Newport and Cardiff, I'm sure we could get a decent turnout.

I'll be up for it again - be good to bring it back. We had some good runs up past Tintern Abbey etc...

Struggling to find a perfect spot for this Sunday, it is already the second weekend!

I have found this place on a A48 north of Chepstow at the national diving center, I haven't been there myself or spoken with them yet. But should have ample parking and the cafe looks good.

There is a place at Tintern but the cafe is open till next month.

What are people's thoughts?

I'm up for this - how about the steel horse cafe on the old Abergavenny to raglan road ?

good driving roads around that area and car park for probably 30 cars ?

OK lets go with this shall we say tomorrow at 0930? With rugby and all I tend to have a hangover!

Once agreed I will edit my previous post to align. Hopefully see some of you there tomorrow.

Can't make this week. The Lotus is having some work done on it Monday, front clam off, and is being parked up in the garage 11 am tomorrow. Suppose I could bring the Jag but it wouldn't be the same.

I'd be interested in popping along to some of these on a regular basis... once I get my car back from the workshop (which should be very soon).

The Steel Horse is just up the road from me! There's plenty of options for a decent run out after.

I can't make it this morning but I'll be up for the next one. smile

Well done everyone, be good to make this a regular thing.

Cracking day for it, had a good run down to Llandovery and over the Black Mountain afterwards.

See you next time.

it may be worth considering another Sunday so that it doesn't clash with the Shelsley Walsh breakfast club meet ?

I'm certainly up for this in future. Can probably bring along an Audi S4 and an Alfa GT.
