Car enthusiast /mobile mechanic - East London/Essex Border?

Ok, rather than adding a 998 Bostrum rep I decided rather foolishly to try my hand with a classic car. (A decision I am starting to regret more each day)
1975 c3 corvette. Been running fine, then stored under cover while fixed a few electrical gremlins. Car started fine & ran fine etc... Put car back together now it won't start! Turns over, got spark at 1 plug but not others so could be distributor.

I know fk all about cars so need an enthusiast to give me a hand or a decent mobile mechanic recommendation.

When you say "put it back together" - what did you take apart? - distributor/plug leads?

I was working on electrical connections behind dashboard, installing sound system, repairing damaged wiring etc...

I'm pretty certain The non starting is a new issue not related to my electrical tinkering.

Sounds like the cap is on skew whiff and the rotor is not catching the poles in the cap. You should have the cap with the 2 lock screws on it, make sure its seated correctly.

Hi, it was issue of dodgy spark plugs, old wiring inside distributor & worn starter motor pinion.
All resolved finally through trial and error!

Would still be handy to know of any east London reputable mechanics - any ideas where I can get a starter motor rebuilt/reconditioned in east London/Essex?
