It would of been far easier to lead my group had people actually followed me .. Darren revised the start of the route because he suspected part of the a11 was shut, still it was nice not getting any stone chips for about 15 minutes !

I think the cars you reffered to were a silver Pontiac G8/GT and a black Cadillac CTS-V.
Whoops, thought in was a Monaro. In my defence I only saw it in my rear view. biggrin

Good point, I shall check. And claim compensation from Mr Digger if necessary. My neck hurts a bit, too...

Great day out, even if I am now coughing up half of the dust from Suffolk biggrin

Loved the drive from Cambridge to Stowmarket, some nice roads over there that we didn't know about. Started off the day in hat, gloves and scarf, finished with sun burn!

Proud to be in the only Seven, making it more unique than a Lamborghini or an M C Laren.

Thank you for sorting out another fantastic run. I joined the first group lead by Darren and was behind the mini and in front of the blue evo. I hope i did not slow the guys down only had the car a week and was getting to grips with it. I think she did ok for a little clio 172.

All the best Max

Did anybody else spot the grey Ferrari California just as the last few turned up? I tried pushing him but no play frown

What a great day out smile leaving from stow i was behind the m5 and the pontiac (forgive me if it wasnt) they both sounded amazing. Both were extremly loud on full chat!!
Thanks, that was me in the Pontiac. Glad you enjoyed the noises, I kinda thought anyone stuck behind me was going to have a bad time. If not from the noise, then the fumes from running no cats haha. Your car definitely has some pep in it, a couple of those times I got on it and expected to not see you in the rear view, but when I looked up you were trailing close behind.

Was a strategic move riding behind you. Your exhaust was so loud it alerted me to when you were about to go wide open, so I knew not to fall behind smile

I ended up losing you, and everyone behind me at the gas station though. Got stuck behind some slow people, and was unable to pass. Ended up several miles away from the rally point.

I really should take the sound insulation out; it's fairly quiet when you're in it.

Not many places to open them up but a couple of nice little bursts. You could tell it was about to happen at the end of a village as all cars slowed up as if lining up for their go.

Mine is so tall geared/revvy that I was up and down the box like nobodies business. Nice to see you still there after the Stonham Barns straight though when we were playing catch up. smile

Done the same thing, drove straight past the turn following the others, assuming the planned route took us the long way around.

Thanks for the camera tip BTW, ordered one when I got home. smile
No problem.

I am looking at using some of the footage from mine, but the Dashcam is HD and my other footage is not, and will therefore need to down scaled to 625 lines to match it.

I will see what it looks like once i have finished editing and then decide.

If it doesn't work out, I will just have to settle for the Tesco and Aldeburgh footage.
